This is a friendly reminder to all 6th grade teachers and club sponsors will have tables at our upcoming Mustang Round Up on April 16 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Mustang Roundup is an exciting opportunity for current 5th graders (our incoming 6th graders) as well as new students to ITMS to visit our campus and experience all that we have to offer. Families will explore our core academic programs, including opportunities for students to earn high school credits while in middle school, along with our wide variety of electives, clubs, and athletic programs.

Indian Trails Book Fair – April 17th–24th

We are excited to announce that the Indian Trails Book Fair will be held from April 17th through April 24th!

Important Details:

  • All students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair during their ELA classes.
  • Parents may send money with their child in the form of cash or card, or set up an eWallet account for a convenient, cashless option.
  • Students and families also have the option to shop online.

ITMS students are collecting food to help support the members of our community that are in need. Please help out by sending in unexpired or unopened food items. These include canned food, peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, dried pasta and canned fruit. The Top 3 classes that collect the most will win a prize.

ITMS will be hosting the “Walk the Halls” event on Thursday, August 7th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We welcome our Mustang Scholars and families an opportunity to access their schedules, walk the halls, and see their classrooms. 

There will be tables in the cafeteria sponsored by Flagler Schools departments (i.e. food service, technology, etc.) as well as community groups that our scholars can participate in. We look forward to seeing you!

The Florida Department of Education announced Brandy Nicole Anderson, a teacher at Indian Trails Middle School in Flagler County, as one of five finalists for the 2026 Florida Teacher of the Year. The state finalists were chosen from 76 district teachers of the year.

Earth Day, an annual event dedicated to environmental protection, is today—Tuesday, April 22, 2025and marks its 55th anniversary.

What began as a national movement in the United States in 1970 has blossomed globally. Earth Day is coordinated by earthday.org, which unites over a billion individuals across more than 192 countries.
