Controlled Open Enrollment Applications: 2023–24

Flagler Schools will offer Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) for the 2023–24 school year beginning Wednesday, March 1.

COE is a School Choice option that allows Florida students to request a transfer to a school that is not their zoned school, including public schools in other counties. Families can apply for placement in any school that still has seats available. The goal of COE is to promote family involvement and ensure that students have access to a school that meets their needs. 

COE applications for the 2023–24 school year open on Wednesday, March 1, and will be accepted only during the annual enrollment period from March 1 to March 31, 2023. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 31.

In an effort to streamline the process and enable the District to efficiently fill available seats, all 2023–24 COE applications should be completed online. The application will be available on the School Choice page. Please submit a separate application for each student.
