Tutoring

Indian Trails Middle School tutoring is held Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 pm–3:30 pm. There is no tutoring on Fridays unless a student has arranged that with their teacher personally.

Tutoring Schedule

Upon dismissal from school, all students attending tutoring will report to study hall in the cafeteria, and will be picked up by their tutors at 2:25 pm.

*6th, 7th, 8th Math Tutoring: Students must have a cumulative math grade of 70% or lower to attend Math Tutoring.

**6th Math Tutoring: Students can only attend every other Monday and must sign up beforehand.

Registration

To register for after-school tutoring, please email Michelle Russell. Registration is based on availability. 

Transportation

  • On Monday and Wednesdays only, there will be bus transportation to a limited number of bus stops.
  • All riders must have a bus pass provided from their activity sponsor.
  • The activities bus will depart ITMS at 4:30 pm.
  • Students who choose to ride the activities bus will report to room 111 at 3:30 pm for supervision until the bus arrives.

Pickup

  • Pickup is between 3:30 pm–3:45 pm in the South Bus Loop (at the Bird of Paradise light).
  • Early pickup is at the front desk. Parents must sign out students in the front lobby. 
  • Your student’s academic success is the focus of tutoring, therefore, remaining in tutoring for the entire session (2:30–3:30) is vital.

Study Hall

Study Hall is only for students who are staying for tutoring, clubs, and intramural sports.
