Art Club
In the Art Club, students will explore different art techniques and mediums. Students can explore their creativity while working on school projects like dance props, and murals.

Band
The ITMS Band is a class that meets on a regular basis. Every student is welcome in the band program, and most students start with little to no prior knowledge. There will be three concerts over the course of the school year, which are required as part of the student's band grade. Costs for families are kept to an absolute minimum, and financial assistance available if needed.

Buddy Sports Modified Basketball
The Buddy Sports Modified Basketball program uses the "Buddy System." Children with physical and/or intellectual needs are paired with a buddy from a group of non-disabled volunteers for basketball practice and games. This is a COED sport which includes all people! The main emphasis is working together as a team.

Builder's Club
Builder's Club is a branch of Kiwanis which focuses on volunteering. Students will work on service projects that help build and better the community.

Creative Writing Club
The Creative Writing Club is sponsored by the Josh Crews Writing Project (JCWP). Club members will work on different aspects of creative writing such as character and world building, story structure, and story development. They will also spend time studying different genres and taking the time to simply write freely. The goal is to have each club member published in the JCWP annual anthology, and to provide a space for them to express themselves through writing.

Future Problem Solvers
As Future Problem Solvers, students work together to find a problem that is currently happening around them and work to solve that problem. Scholars learn and compete with a six-step Future Problem Solving Process.

ITMS Future Problem Solvers teams have been selected to compete at the state level, in three 
different components of problem solving:
  • GIPS – Global Issues Problem Solving
  • Scenario Writing
  • CmPS – Community Problem Solving

Junior Police Academy (JPA)
Junior Police Academy (JPA) bridges the tremendous gap between today's youth and law enforcement officers. It is designed to educate students about crime prevention and personal safety while empowering them and fostering leadership skills.

This activity is run by the School Resource Deputy and will include field trips. 
Interested students should register with the Flagler Sheriff's Police Athletic League.

Latin Cooking Club
The Latin Cooking Club offers students the opportunity to explore the Latino Culture while developing basic cooking skills. Students will meet weekly to learn how to cook popular dishes and recipes from Latin America (and their favorite treats too!)

Mustang Mentors
Seventh and eighth grade students are invited to join this new program, and mentor Belle Terre Elementary School students weekly. This is an opportunity to serve as a role model and help other students, while developing valuable leadership skills. Student discipline, grades, and records will be reviewed in order to participate.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
Membership in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is based on scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Students selected for this international student organization must be nominated by their teachers, and meet the academic requirements of A/B Honor Roll.
